TESTIMONIALS
“For me, Ikuméni has been an experience of sharing with people full of passion, of love for what they do; of friendship. And it has reminded me of the roots of why we do it. My expectation is to be able to put into practice what I have learned, so that I can also continue to grow and we can persevere. I encourage you that from the point of view of the faith that each one of you may have, you can unite in that love for your neighbour in the world where you need to see and reflect the Kingdom of God.”
Sharilay Acuña Correa
“I want to reaffirm that Ikuméni is becoming a wonderful process of transformation.”

“I thank Ikuméni for allowing me to study and for allowing me to develop my practice, which has helped me to ground my ideas and to understand that it is possible, in the midst of violence, to create tools; and to see conflict not as something negative all the time, but that conflict also leads us to reflect, to think, and to develop new ways of life, and this is part of resilience.”
Orfeny Carbali
“It has been very exciting and a lot of learning. I leave very motivated and strengthened and with all the desire to promote my good practices in the place where I live.”
Octavio
“What I take away from my experience in Ikuméni is learning to listen deeply, daring to turn off my internal judgements, my preconceived ideas, where I put aside everything I have been learning to really connect with what my partner is sharing; and the result is sometimes impressive, because I have come with an idea of a solution but when I really dare to listen to the other person, ideas are rethought and new ideas can even come out. It has been very enriching to share with my colleagues from all over Central and Latin America.”
Lucero Jaque
“Ikuméni, for me, is to see how God opens paths where there are none.”
Sebastián
“Ikuméni has been a very good experience and an opportunity to meet in our differences; it has been a way to make alliances and form a network to be able to contribute to our country from our faith-based communities.”
